These terms apply to the Percento+ app for iPhone and to this website. By using the app or the website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

What Percento+ is

Percento+ is a set of percentage, financial and unit calculators, with a currency converter. Calculations run on your device. The currency converter also downloads daily exchange rates from a third-party service.

Results are for information only

The calculators give estimates and arithmetic results. They are not financial, tax, legal, accounting or investment advice. In particular:

• the 401(k) and retirement projections depend on the assumptions you enter (returns, inflation, salary growth, tax) and on rules that may change; they are not a forecast;
• VAT and sales-tax rates are provided for convenience and must be checked against the official source before you rely on them;
• exchange rates are official daily reference rates. They can differ from the rate you actually get from a bank, exchange office or card provider, and they may be out of date if you are offline;
• you should check every result before making a payment, a pricing decision, a tax filing or a financial decision.

You are responsible for how you use the results.

Exchange rates come from a third party

Exchange rates are provided by ExchangeRate-API (open.er-api.com) and used under its terms. We do not guarantee that the service will be available or accurate at all times. The app keeps the last rates it downloaded and shows their date. Our privacy policy explains what the request reveals.

Purchases

If paid features are offered, they are purchased through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Acceptable use

You may not use the app or this website to:

• attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the website or to the rates service;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
• use the app or its results for unlawful purposes.

Intellectual property

The app, the website, the name Percento+, the logo and the design belong to their developer. You may use them to use the app and the website, but not to imply endorsement or to create a competing product with the same name or logo.

No warranty

The app and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, its results, the exchange rates or the website. Where the law does not allow this exclusion, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app, if any.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be published on this page with a new date. Continued use after the update means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [your country / state]. Mandatory consumer rights in your country are not affected.
