Privacy Policy

Percento+ is a set of percentage and financial calculators, plus a currency converter. This policy explains what the app stores, what it sends over the internet, and what it does not collect.

Summary

• We do not collect, sell or share personal data.
• The app has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
• Your calculations, history and favourites stay on your device.
• Both the app and the website download daily currency exchange rates. The website also loads its fonts and libraries from outside services (see below).

Data stored on your device

The app saves the following locally on your device only:

• your calculation history and saved presets;
• your settings (language, appearance, currency choices, haptic feedback);
• the last exchange rates downloaded, so the currency converter works offline.

This data is not sent to us. Deleting the app removes it. You can also clear your history from the Settings screen.

Exchange rates: network request

To update currency rates, the app requests data from the public ExchangeRate-API service (open.er-api.com). The app asks for new rates only when the source announces an update, at most once an hour. You can also refresh the rates manually, at most once every five minutes. Like any internet request, the service can see your IP address. The app sends no other information: no identifier, no account and no calculation data. Requests use a session that stores no cookies.

The ExchangeRate-API service has its own privacy policy, which applies to its handling of that request.

Widgets

Home-screen widgets read your saved presets from the app's shared storage on your device. Nothing is sent from the widgets.

The Percento+ website

The website does not use cookies, accounts or analytics. Its calculations run in your browser, and nothing you type is sent to us. Its currency converter downloads the daily exchange rates from the same service as the app (open.er-api.com). Like any internet request, that service can see your IP address. The rates are kept in your browser's local storage and sent nowhere else. To load its typefaces and calculation libraries, your browser requests files from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) and from the cdnjs service (cdnjs.cloudflare.com). Like any internet request, those services can see your IP address; they receive no other information from the site.

Purchases

The app is currently free. If optional paid features are offered later, purchases will be handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
